Kuang-Chao Chen is Vice President of technology development center and responsible for technology development.

Kuang-Chao Chen received his M.S. degree in chemistry from the National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan. In 1989, Kuang-Chao Chen joined Electronic Research and Service Organization of Industrial Technology Research Institute for submicron project, where he had been involved in the development of BEOL planarization process technology. In 1995, Kuang-Chao Chen was with Mosel-Vitelic International Co., Ltd, Taiwan, as a Deputy Department Manager, working on yield improvement in manufacturing line. In 1998, Kuang-Chao Chen served as a Department Manager in Vanguard International Semiconductor Co., Ltd, Taiwan, for thin film module development and diffusion module in manufacturing line. In 2000, Kuang-Chao Chen joined Macronix International Semiconductor Co., Ltd, Taiwan, where he was responsible for technology development related works.​
